This is my first rifle build and ar15 ive owned personally. I live in california now so will be excluding there "evil" features in order to use high capacity magazines and not have to include the button magazine release. Feel free to critique it all you like! Special thanks to member thecolter for helping me to get this far.

Looks like a helluva nice collection of parts you got there. Should turn into a really nice rifle when assembled. Looking forward to seeing some pics!!

The stripped upper is arriving tomorrow so the pictures should begin then. The lower is being shipped tomorrow, but once it arrives i still have to wait 10 days to pick her up. There are still a few parts that are back ordered but I am hoping they will be available by the time I get the lower in my dirty little paws.

Are you looking for feedback or what? You have a lot of parts make sure you put them together correctly. Might want to rethink the Spikes buffer, buffer spacer, and rear tritium sight if not the front one too. You're also going to want a white light and a sling.

So are you putting the upper together or having someone who knows what they're doing do it for you?
Because I sure as hell would pay someone to do the upper. Especially my first AR. I did my lower myself but got lucky and everything worked the first time through. That and all you need for the lower is a punch, needlenose pliers, and a flat head screwdriver. Oh, and the castle nut wrench.
Make sure you stake the castle nut.

Why not rethink all the spikes stuff?

I contacted someone a few hours a way that was recommended to me. He quoted me 180 bux to do the upper and lower. But after watching a few videos I feel its something I can handle. Im going to try and find someone local that would be willing to supervise me tho. I like the idea of building the rifle myself also.
