Just wondering, isn't that an AAC Blackout FH non-mount and not a Smith Vortex?

This is exactly what I bought: https://www.primaryarms.com/Noveske_...vu-lcb-556.htm

In the description it says Vortex but looking at it on the rifle, it's stamped AAC.

    I'm pretty sure it's this one: http://noveskerifleworks.com/cgi-bin...status=&title=

Maybe it's some sort of collaboration?

It's definitely an AAC blackout on the Primary Arms link you posted. It looks to be the same on your rifle. It's nothing bad though, either or will serve your needs as they both act out of the same principle.

You know frangible is only really frangible on steel right? It will rip through sheet rock just like any other round. Frangible has no advantage when it comes to leathality, so why pay more(it's expensive) for a 42-55 grain bullet when you can get say 62 grain lake city cheaper.

    Lower

Where did you find a $50 PSA lower?

Yeah, in 2011 PSA had their lowers for 50USD quite a few times. Since they've become so popular, I'm not sure if they will again.

They go for 80 all the time, however.

I picked up 3. I've been really pleased so far with them -- the LPKs installed easily and precisely. I also appreciate the generously flared magwell and even anodizing.

hatchtrikk, thanks for posting the build and especially your goals and reasoning. Please keep us posted as you train with it more and any changes you make relative to your original goals.
