Anybody got any clues on how to cut out candy, specifically jelly beans. I have been sober for more than a year now, I eat healthy(no fried foods, no pre-prepared foods, boxed foods, etc...), I exercise daily(5-7 miles of running, 25+ miles of cycling, swimming, or weight lifting depending on the day) and have lost almost 40 lbs in a little over a year, but I cant stop eating jelly beans. Like an obscene amount(I ate 2 16oz bags in the past 2 days). I have read that recovering alcoholics have this problem and it can lead to other problems down the road that are worse than the alcohol(such as diabetes) so I need to get this shit under control.
Anybody have any hints on cutting sugar out of your diet? I know not purchasing them in the first place is the first step, but they always seem to find their way into my cart at the store.
