Correct. We must have a copy of either an FFL or the "sellers" Drivers License for our Firearms Disposition and Records book which is required, by law, from the ATF. We must show who we received the firearm from just as we must show who it went out too.
Also, all handguns MUST be shipped via 2nd Day shipping or faster. UPS and FedEx are the only options. USPS allows for private individuals to ship long guns but NOT handguns. Yea, you can get away with shipping via USPS but if your package is lost or stolen in route to its destination and it contained a handgun and was not shipped via a FFL to another FFL, you are in deep deep trouble with the Fed.
