"Dissipator" type w/ Midlength gas system *PICS*

I put this together around the beginning of the year. I used this gun in the Iron Man and it ran flawlessly. I put the can on as an after thought and if I were to do the build over again I would use an 18" barrel instead. However, the OPS Inc 10.5" adapter works perfectly and lengthwise is no worse than any other suppressor on the market. The sound suppression is as to be expected on any other 18" barrel...great.

    Here is the break down:

CMMG M10 barrel, Mid length gas system w/ rifle length iron sights - No problems with the barrel but very slow to ship and had to be reminded.
    Ameetec Arms Lower receiver
    CMT upper receiver
CMT Parts kit - OEM trigger
    CMT Bolt and Carrier
    DD 12.0 M4 FF handguard
VLTOR Club foot stock and milspec receiver extension
    TA-31F w/ LaRue mount
Pride Fowler reflex sight and mount
OPS Inc 15th model w/10.5" adapter
KG Gunkote - FDE w/ OD wash

    Right and left

    PRI/KAC style gas block

OPS Inc 10.5" adapter and brake

    TA31F w/ Pride Fowler Reflex

You are saying the suppression is as good as on an 18" barrel?

Yes, it should be. The bullet has to travel just about as far (give or take an inch) before it reaches the suppressor. The adapter just locates the brake forward and acts as the 20 degree shoulder.
