erh, i believe David Thomas' Colt is Duracoated.

David, i would like to see more pics of the re-cut frontstrap serrations. i've never seen anyone recut the 20lpi into 40 lpi. Did Matt just cut an "extra" set of serrations in between the originals ones? or did he smooth out the strap and recut them? i'm guessing the former.

The Matt Davis #008 is duracoated. The MD #003 is blued.

I will try to get some more or better pics of the front strap.

You were/are correct, Janitor. #008 is duracoated. My most recent post and the pic you posted from Terry are one and the same, namely the #008.

I posted a pic of #003 earlier.
