Isn't Mike Allen the custom gunsmith that Pat MacNamara mentioned in his videos?

He is. I checked out Pat's pistol at a class and, thankfully, Mike's local to me.

One of the nicest, most humble men I've ever met, and I'm very pleased with the work he did. Just a simple trigger job and reliability tuning have made all the difference with this pistol.

Mike Allen has been a longtime gunsmith for The Unit. Known for doing builds that run and run hard.
I haven't seen the video mentioned, but I know PMac has worked with him quite a bit.
