I'm using Testors Acrylic model paint, it's not the best application but useful to try out. Primer was applied followed by gloss orange using a toothpick, all applied with no more than a drop each and thinly laid over the serrations.

thanks for the info. being over 50, I had a hard time holding the magnifying glass in one hand and the took pick in the other.

How did you get that texture on your front strap?

Clark did that a long time ago. It's done with a punch. When it was first done it would draw blood, waaayyyyyy too sharp, but after a little time with a file. It became manageable
