Full Rifle: 5 lb 15 oz (BCM stock was about 7 oz)

Overall, very happy with these purchases. The upper was a steal and lower was a sweet deal as well. Will be using this gun for a carbine class next month as well as "Shrek" McPhee's class in the summer.

By the way, what's the white stuff you guys put on the trigger spring? Is it some kind of trade secret? Thanks again, SIONICS.

Earlier this year SIONICS Weapon Systems was selected by the Atlanta PD as an official individual officer purchase after being evaluated for several months. We have now been awarded an initial contract for close to 80 rifles (16" Midlength carbines and 11.5" SBR's). Both versions will use the Centurion Arms C4 rail, B5 SOPMOD Bravo, the SIONICS Enhanced Trigger and our standard NP3 BCG. We are happy to be working with them in meeting their needs and I met some really good people out their a few months ago when I taught the armorer's course at their FTU Range Facility.

    Good news for SIONICS.

Looks like their customer went with the medium contour 16" barrels.

I was pleased to find out one the local gun stores is a Sionics dealer and picked up a BCG and LPK today. I wasn't intending on getting a LPK since I picked up 3 Colt LPKs sans triggers from Grant a while back. I didn't really want anything lighter than a milspec trigger, but wanted something smoother, so I thought I'd try out the new NP3 triggers Sionics is offering. The LGS didn't have just the triggers, so I picked up the LPK. I was going to just use the trigger, but upon opening and inspecting the parts, they looked so good, I figured I'd save the Colt parts instead . Also I was surprised to find it included an ambi safety lever. I am very impressed with everything. Trigger is very smooth and breaks clean- just what I wanted. BCG is really nice too. Well machined and the NP3 coating is slick and looks nice.
