Yea I know, they said they don't want to get into the pin and weld game. One can still clamor on about one however.

Found a sweet deal on a complete Sionics upper. Figured I'd share it here so someone can grab it.

    Excellent! Thanks for the info.

For just the complete upper and bolt, that's an amazing deal.
Just bought the last kit, thanks for the link! I didn't even need another rifle...

EDIT: also, I assume if I want to disassemble the upper to swap rails I am going to have to send it off to Adco? Also, since it comes with a DD Lite rail, I hope it includes the rail wrench! Thinking I may want to disassemble, buy a BCM KMRA, and send the upper receiver, rail, and lower off to be cerakoted dark bronze.

If you send it to SIONICS, they will also disassemble it and swap rails.

I figured they would, but really I'd need it disassembled, sent to me, then have it cerakoted, and then sent back with the KMR for reassembly. I knew there was no chance the gas block was attached with set screws (or if they are they probably have some loctite on them that can't be removed without crazy heat, just like my BCM was). Oddly enough, I had the same DD 12.0 Lite Rail on my BCM upper I bought in 2009. I liked it, just didn't need all that picatinny rail-estate and weight.

I would call the shop and ask. Yes, Loctite was used but there shouldn't be an issue getting it off.
