    Crimson Trace Lightguard?

Anyone using one of these on a EDC pistol?

Yeah, have one on my M&P40 for carry. Figured I might as well since it doesn't add any noticeable bulk to the pistol when carrying, unlike an X300 or TLR-1. It did add some time to my holster wait since I had to get a custom Phantom from RCS instead of buying a standard Phantom through quick-ship, but it was worth it to have a pistol equipped for all hours of the day and night.

Plastic screws into plastic threads = it will break under serious use, so it's relegated to nightstand duty only.
Cost more than a better, brighter light TLR-1s.
    Holster availability extremely limited.

It does have it's advantages as a bedside handgun mounted light, but it's limited to a few models.

It's a niche item with very limited functionality. Not a rational product IMHO.
