    Define "heavy pig".

Design parameters are for unloaded rifle w/o optics or accessories, with 406mm barrel at 3.7kg for standard version and 3.4kg for bulpup.

I'm sponsored competition shooter representing Heckler&Koch, Kahles, Hornady and Typhoon Defence brands in Poland, so I can be biased

So it will be too heavy for you. Sorry.

For our soldiers it will be OK - it is roughly same as wz. 96 Beryl, they are used to this. Our rifles must be little heavier, to meet durability and reliability requirements (like, for example, barrel obstruction tests).

The Poles I met overseas were all big dudes so I'm sure it won't be an issue. Seems like the trend in America is for a lighter fighting carbine, tho

We have different approach to use small arms, legacy of Warsaw Pact doctrine. More emphasis on suppressive fire capability, ability to shoot with clogged barrel, etc. Even with now increased emphasis on individual marksmanship, keeping up old requirements leads to heavier rifles, than more "relaxed" user requirements in US allow to.

Funny thing, that our GPMGs, still seem to come up rather on light side.

Thanks for the update Montrala. Do you know if FB Radom has released the information on the sustained ROF for the Auto Rifle variant of the MSBS? If so, is the sustained ROF around 30 rpm?

I got to spend some time with the latest bullpup yesterday and was very impressed by both rifles.

The new models are AR grip compatible also.

I will be very pleased to see these offered for commercial sales in the US.
