Yep, the Ergo plug is a nuisance. I do like the grip for this type of weapon so I glued it in place.
Also, have seen others just rip the plug off.

That is the solution of course. There is no reason to avoid the MWS because of the grip and buttstock. Just expressing an opinion based on personal preference.

I hear ya but most complete rifles come with either a stock or a grip that gets replaced. The beauty of the platform is you can make it somewhat your own by changing these parts as well as triggers, rail pannels and muzzle devices.

Any suggestions on what Stock you prefer and why?

Please help me understand:

The new magwell allows true double stacking of the larger case head diameter 6.8 ammo, so the mags are more size efficient?

Does it allow the 6.8 to be loaded at longer than original spec OAL too?

Is this new ammo loaded to longer OAL, and what is the velocity increase (comparing same chamber pressure)?

What are the specs of this new ammo?
