Thumbs up New US Importer for Swiss Arms, www.sanswissarms.com

Have a look at their website - http://www.sanswissarms.com

They state that they will be bringing in the "751 SAPR" in pistol configuration soon.

Lots of interesting parts, uppers and accessories.

Their Facebook page mentions that the owner recently attended armorer's school in Switzerland.

Swiss Arms makes some very nice rifles.
I've shot them quite a bit, and I really liked them. They are pricey, and some of the parts are obscenely expensive.
The AR wins for ergos, weight, accuracy, modularity/aftermarket, etc. and the rational, logical part of me will stay with the AR, but the Swiss Arms has its charms.

Anything that increases the availability and reduces price of an sg55x is great news. An sg553 sbr at a reasonable price would be great.

Outside of the mcx, which is in an unproven infancy, you're hard pressed to find a better 5.56x45mm side folder that is 16" folded.

    Thumbs up

A link to a photo of the 7.62x51 NATO Pistol Variant (751 SAPR Model) hopefully becoming available later this year.

This will be a "Top 5" SBR for me without a doubt!

553 pistols have never been more reasonsble than they are now. You can find them on Gunbroker for around $2600-2700. I doubt we will ever see them any cheaper.

What's the barrel length on that thing?

ETA: Looks to be 12.8" provided it's consistent with the "SB" variant.

Personally, I hope FAMAE beats them to the punch and laughs in their 30 hour work week, $75/hr to install handguard and screw on pistol grip faces...

FAMAE is going to be expensive. Close to $4k. Personally I want both.
