Just a question. When you say regular buffer, are you referring to a 3 ounce carbine buffer? That's way light for a LMT 10.5" with their enhanced BCG, I could see issues with that. The A5 or rifle like action system with a proper buffer weight is definitely better than any carbine type action systems, even weighted to the H3 carbine type.

FYI, I spoke with LMT in depth on the enhanced setup. They say if its 5.56, the enhanced bolt and carrier will work fine, even full 20" setups. However, in my current 300 Blackout (9.5" suppressed 99% of the time) with pistol buffer, it was suggested the enhanced bolt only. I plan to run a similar setup in the future with the A5 system so I may try the enhanced carrier just to see, but generally, unless you are running 300 Blk you should be fine...
