My new 629 V-Comp with Altamont Rosewood grips

Just wanted to share. I'm really happy with this revolver. The trigger is butter smooth. This is a very refined revolver in comparison to other revolvers I looked at.

Jaw dropping. Very sexy. I bet it’s a soft shooter, too.

    Enjoy.

Yes, one of the big reasons I went with the 629 V over the 627 V. Also I like the 4" barrel of the 629 over the 5" 627.

Had one of those pre-lock. Now it's worth probably $3K but I sold it for a $800. I'm keeping pre-lock L comp, I learned my lesson.

How does it shoot with the woodies? Does it sting much? I know the rubber grips are ugly, but I can shoot all day with them... Well until my budget for ammo runs out at least.

Edited... It looks so much better with woodies.
