F~marked FSB on a middy A2 ?

wondering ...if anyone has built a middy 16" with an A2 upper.
any issues with the F marked FSB ?
or find a middy barrel without the taller fsb.

Possible, but depending on your personal zero the front sight may get a bit too far wound in which obviously would be a hassle.

Certainly better to have the tall tower and wound in sight than the other way around.

If the sight were too far down one could dress a bit off the tip of the sight post. Preferably on a lathe.

I'm not condoning it or even suggesting it, just saying it has happened out there in the wild.
