    do you recommend a modern buffer to save wear and tear on the lower or wear and tear on the shooter?

    Reminds me of working at the state fair grounds when they held the gun shows. It was just after the legislation restricting new FA NFA weapons to civies took place but people still had FA guns to sell / show off regularly at the gun show. Back when guns shows had guns, not beef jerky, prepper gear, and Nazi knives...

    If only I had known, I would have bought a FA AR lower as soon as I became legal age. Would have been expensive but far less than these days...
