POTUS to Introduce Assault Weapon Ban!

Tried to put this in the general discussion forum but it wouldn't let me post it there. Anyway, received an e-mail from Battle Comp yesterday stating that the POTUS has stated his intention to reintroduce the federal assualt weapons ban. Don't know how true it is but I would think comming from an outfir with BCE's reputation the odds are pretty good. If this is true wite call your Congressman/woman and Senator to stop this invasion of our rights.

Presidents don't introduce bills.

He mentioned supporting it during a debate.

Yeah, it was mentioned in one of the recent debates, unless you missed it, haven't been reading the news, or the Inter-webs.

I think its been mentioned on this site a couple times, but I'm not sure.
