I second the rattle can for an authentic look I don't see many mk 18s hydrodipped but rattle can canis easy to change.

A very important piece of info. In that case, I say Brown receiver and atacs furniture so you can change it later if you move to a greener area, or if you get bored of atacs.

Kinda what I was leaning towards. Id really like to be able to match the receivers with the dd fde rail but apparently no one knows a good cerakote mixture to achieve it

Yeah I say brown reciever atacs is your best bet now that I think of it brown is a good base for camo if atacs doesn't do it for you.

I'd just rattlecan it whatever Krylon Tactical's equivalent of FDE is if it were mine but you seem to strongly lean towards A-Tacs so I say go full force in that direction. A-Tacs dipped everything over a cerakote brownbase would like pretty damn slick I think.
