trading glock 23 and eotech xps2 for trijicon acog?

I've been talking to a guy willing to trade me his trijicon acog 4x32 green chevron for my glock 23 and eotech xps2. Is this a great trade I need to do or am I getting screwed? I know trijicon is top of the line just looking for your guys opinions. Thanks

Why do you need a magnified optic? What do you use your rifle, or intend to use your rifle, for that warrants magnification? How old is the optic and in what shape is it in?

You can get a new TA31G from G&R Tactical if you are a member here for a good price. The new cost would be close to the approximate value of a used G23 and a Eotech, depending on the condition.

How much you are willing to trade them for the ACOG is on you.

It is mostly based on personal preference but I dislike the green chevron compared to the red chevron. Besides that, you could afford a new ACOG by selling the G23 and XPS like others have said. You aren't being offered a fantastic deal though either way.

How old is the ACOG? The tritium DOES have a shelf life.

I wouldn't trade an actual gun for just getting an optic.. unless you have 50 of them just laying around unused.

If you really want the ACOG, sell the XPS, then save the extra $500-600 and get a ACOG when you can afford it.

What does this have to do with ARs?
