    those above pics must be Battlecomps....hey I love melted marshmallows and a good day to me = a day at the range with an instant smores maker at the end of my AR!

    I dont think its possible to suppress flash in a short barrel rifle.

    Cameron those pictures are pretty awesome, cute little midget also.

    No mam...mine is a MB556K (SF suppressor mount). Battlecomps still have some muzzle flash, but far less.

    Yes it is. It's all in the ammo/powder selection.... well maybe not total flash elimination.. but you can really tune it.

    It's been my experience with my personal SBR's and suppressor that my weapon doesn't exhibit lots of flash (even at night) and I does in fact mask the direction of the shot.

    One thing that people need to realize is that in a military type of context the shooter is usually in a covered/ concealed position. In addition when inside of a building or dwelling snipers are generally backed away from openings and use spider holes.

    In an open area it may be "easy" to detect a shot, but in an urban setting where there is lots of ambient noise and shots can come from any direction it's not so easy.
