    There is no "sear block" in either of those lowers. The Colt has less milling in the interior. But the sear block is a pinned part that sticks up out of the lower.

    Doesn't the sear block go right where that extra material is in that lower?

    Correct.
    He would need to run a half moon carrier if he had the super PC block.

    For lack of a better term, I called it a sear block.
    The unfinished milling makes it impossible to install an auto sear.

    The sear block, yes. As for the pistol grip, cut the guy some slack. Maybe the owner has gorilla-like hands, and needs the extra reach.
