Dammit - I don't know why I even "click" on your posts anymore, man ... they just make me want to quit my job & move to a "free" state ...

Looks good. What did you use as a stencil for the paint job?

    So it's almost a 6921.

    It looks great Jeff!

A local guy was selling a LE6920 but I was too late to the party...he already sold it by the time I contacted him

Oh well, I'll just go back to my waiting lists and drooling over your pictures until I can pick one up.

Thanks for the complements. I used a sniper's viel for the pattern, a military style laundry bag will have the same effect for the pattern.

I've noticed some of your guns have the regular LaRue Aimpoint mount and some have the cantilever version. Whats your preference?

I think I'm going to purchase an Aimpoint soon and I'm definately going with a LaRue mount, but I'm unsure as to which one I think I'd like more.

I do like the idea of kicking the optic as far forward as possible while still staying on the receiver rail.

    Any input?

    Raith,

Personal preference. I use to love cantalever mounts until I started using LaRue's Aimpoint mount about 2 1/2 years ago. I got acustom to the standard mount (this is before they were even producing the cantalever) and prefer it slightly over the cantalever.

You can't go wrong with either. The main advantage to the cantalever is if you plan on using a magnifier behind it, the cantalever will push the Aimpoint further forward so you have more room for the cantalever.
