I am very pleased to read your first deer hunting story. I am also learning ropes and having some shooting skills but unfortunately I did not shoot any deer yet. I am trying to shoot deer from couple of years but did not succeed. But I did not lose my hopes, I hope one day I will shoot a deer.

Nice kill! Its always great having it drop close. I've followed some long blood trails up hills through swamps,etc.
