Seen people asking $100 a piece for Pmags in private sales locally since monday, a few reports of even higher then that. Had a guy trying to buy a lower off me, offered me four Pmags and insisted that they were worth over $400. Things have just gone completely crazy with them at the moment. Saw a guy with a Noveske AR15 locally wanting $7500 for it, likely double what he had in it since he had an ACOG on it and other odds and ends, must have been hoping to trade it in for that Barrett that he wanted. I am really at the point honestly if I don't absolutely need it I am going to wait.

Edited to add: Will say this, oddly enough the stores that I have been in locally, the few that I will buy from, I didn't see much in price jumps when I was there earlier in the week, just them getting bought out left and right. Only real thing I saw at some was limits on the number of boxes of certain ammo types you could but, but no increase in the price. Pretty bad when the gun stores appear to be reasonable.

I managed to buy two PMAGs at 30 apiece today. Yes, I overpaid but I was damn surprised to see them on the wall.

It amazes me how much these mags are going for- is Magpul working overtime?

Since their product line is pretty much AR based and with the proposed future legislation, I imagine their injection molding machines are running pretty much 24/7.

    Talking

I saw on one of the websites you still can get thermolds. 10 for 64 bucks plus shipping at sportsmans guide. There not pmags but they will work in a pinch. I just got 2 pmags for 34 bucks at my local gs. He said he won't be getting any more in for weeks. I got about 75 pmags and gi style so I think I am ok for now.
