This 500D light weight armor carrier is called the UAV (Urban Assault Vest) this is an evolution of the CIRAS in it is lighter, more modular and much more versatile. This vest has already been adapted by a major US agency in large deployment QTY.




















Side armor pouch can also double as magazine pouch with a piece velcro conversion insert.


Various cummerbund for the vest, it is highly modualr for the user to modify the vest to fit any operational environment.




A separate velcro attachment can convert the LAND-CIRAS style to Maritime-CIRAS style closure.




Triple release on the vest, a pull down at the bottom, a neck pull and a side pull.




The pull strap are sewn half way down the vest to make sure a failure of the strap would never occur.

Where can one pre-order? I don't see it on their website.

Still getting used to the look of the SCAR stock, but the integrated QD cup makes me want it, and if they solved the cheap rattly feel of the OEM stock, then I'm definitely in.

I think I'll reserve judgement on the rail until I get some idea of how easy it is to mount rail sections to. The length is nice though.
