Question Question about where to ask

I am new to this site. I have own ARs for a long time. But, I would like to know where to go on this site to ask
where to buy & get some changes made on my AR. What not to get & so on. I live in KY. My brother & nephew has got one and
its been awhile since I've had to work or buy anything for mine. Thanks Robert

you mean replacing parts yourself, or to get work done to the rifle by a professional?

If the former, there is an equipment exchange, after X number of posts(50?)

If the latter, depends what you want. Look at the ads, and I would ask specifics in the best sub-forum that is what you want to end up with. Be warned, make sure you search first. Duplicate posts with common questions get shut down pretty quickly.

    Welcome to M4C.

Yes I mean replacing parts myself & finding someone close to me to do some work. I just don't have the tools or the time to
    do some of the things.

agree with Caduceus on the Equipment Exchange part of this site.

Plenty of gunsmiths in your area:

Adco gets phenomenal recommendations for barrel work.

First, we cannot give recommendations without knowing what rifle you have, how it's configured and what parts it currently has. Also, until you actually shoot the rifle, how can you know what upgrades, if any, are needed to suit your purposes? Making changes for the sake of making changes is a waste of time and money.

    Second, welcome to the forums!
