I have two LMT SOPMODs and recently purchased a bunch of the B5s. My LMTs fit and function much better. Still, for half the price I'm happy with the B5s. I set my stocks where I want them and don't mess with the adjustment much anyway. I have not been able to find a Bravo yet, but look forward to giving one a try.

Does it fully collapse on an a5?

It stops a little short as do most stocks. I will post some pics of mine soon. So far I like it ALOT.

You may want to stake the castle nut/endplate.

    -No battery storage
    -Lighter (10.25 vs 8.25oz)
-Different adjustment lever (I actually like this one more)
-Greater angle on the rear of the stock

    Pros:
-Very snug fit; almost like it has a friction lock (it doesn't, just trying to describe it)
-Cost. It feels like a high quality stock but it's priced around $60
-The cheek weld is very comfortable and repeatable
-Available in multiple colors and patterns
-Has a built in anti-rotation QD socket

    Cons:
-Availability. Good luck finding one in stock these days.

Here's a video with some shooting, a comparison with the Magpul MOE & STR stocks, and a quick discussion of my findings so far with it:

This is the stock that should come on every Colt rifle as OEM instead of that ****ing hideous Whatever thing they're running...

The B5 is a boring stock. Solid... good weight... simple... EXACTLY what a stock should be. This was the first stock to come out in the last 10 years that I was in line to buy.

Do the B5 SOPMODS still stink?

I shot a rifle with one maybe a year and a half ago and it had a nauseating plastic smell...

Never heard of this. I currently run a B5 SOPMOD and mine does not "smell".

Btw, the LMT SOPMOD is not higher quality. Not at all. One could even argue that the B5 is higher quality. Anyone who says the LMT is "higher quality" obviously has zero experience with B5 products.
