How's that no-mod adapter working out for you? I have an M92 on the way and am going over my different options to SBR. These adapters look pretty fugly but otherwise seem to work well, from what I've gathered?

Also, I'd be interested in this "wedge" piece everyone is talking about as well. When will there be more available?

I hope to have another batch of kits in about two weeks.

Would it the adapter work with a m4 tube for the brace?

My wenge handguard had developed a little play over the few months I've been shooting her. The wood-to-metal fit of the rear tenon was the weak point. So I carefully trimmed sides of the tenon and cut small mortises to accept metal lugs which I cut from 1/8" stainless steel. I dimpled the faces and filed v-notches in the edges of the portion of the lugs that are epoxied into the wood for extra bite. After a little careful filing, it fits rock solid again.

Two #10-32x1" socket head screws are used to secure the folding mechanism and the wedge to the rear of the trunnion with a small backing plate inside.

I shot the M92 at 200 yards today with a heavy front bag, off the bench.

My best group of 5 shots was 6" (with Golden Tiger). The average was more like 10-12".

Wildbill can you provide a little more detail? I got my stamp back (45 day turn around) and I'm ready to move on my M92 SBR project. I bought a plate from you a few months ago.

    Doc,
You can use the wedge as a template to mark the location of the holes in the rear trunnion. A drill press works best for the holes, but a hand drill will work. Everything should line up and screw together nicely. Put a couple drops of Loctite on the screws to keep them snug. Good luck and feel free to ask me any more detailed questions.
