    My new build

I had a pretty nice rifle but had been thinking of tinkering with it for awhile when someone offered to sell me a used but never fired Noveske lower. I had contacted a friend who had been wanting me to put an AR15 together for him at a pretty low cost. We decided what I could sell him and what he could afford to buy and well, I didn't end up keeping much!!

    Before:

    LMT M4 upper

WOA SS 1:7 midlength barrel turned to 0.90" under the handguards by Steve at ADCO and then fluted.

    F marked set-screwed FSB

    A2 FS

DD 12.0FSPM that I cut shorter

    WOA bolt and carrier group

RRA lower with Steve's pinned RRA NM 2-stage trigger

All tan parts were Duracoated in Tiger Stripe Brown- a beautiful color with a lot of chameleon like properties.

    Newest Iteration:

Noveske N4 lower with the RRA 2-stage NM

    Magpul CTR

    LMT H2 buffer

Upper is the Mur-1 with FA and deflector

    Same barrel

DD was graciously refinished by Jay and is better than it was to begin with

MP tested bolt with extraction upgrade by Grant

M16 CMT carrier staked like you wouldn't believe by Grant

This time I applied a matte clear over the barrel to keep it from "discoloring due to the elements."

KAC 300m that served in Iraq at some point and I refinished with DC

Eotech 512 on a LaRue mount

DD push button sling mount just in front of barrel nut.

BFG SOC-C sling I disassembled to suit my needs 6 months ago

Thanks guys! It had sat for 2 months while I figured out how to best handle the previous DC until Molsen offered to sell me the N4 lower. Within days it was all figured out...

    ETA: it sat IN PIECES

    That is sweet.

Your barrel looks naked, a little KG would look great.

I was >this< close to Duracoating it black when I did my friend's parts.

Then Someone posted their's with the SS barrel and I figured I'd just reblast it with AlO2 and then put matte DC clear over it to prevent the spotting I had before...

The sun was hitting it fairly well in those pics. It usually matches the Labelle mags.

The PRI fat latch is new- I had their FLAT latch before and it sucks. I've also owned two badger types as well.

The MIAD is my 5th or 6th replacement but the first to have the new texture- I never sent in any of my pre-order versions to upgrade until I ordered the CTR.

The textured is great and I no longer am searching for the best Skateboard tape to use for the cutout versions...

I've been using the sling like this for quite some time and a few months before BFG announced the Vicker's coop. I've been tempted to get one and try it out but this one does almost the same thing.

But then again, this would work well on the Polish Underfolder with a snaphook up front...

I also really like the KAC 300m. Why don't more people use them?

Joe sweet blaster. As to the KAC 300 meter I quit using one several years ago. It wore in and would not stay up when firing the gun. By then better buis's were on the market so I ditched it for a Arms.
Sad, that it takes someone else to tell you your life is worth protecting and that you are the one ultimately responsible for it.

Well, if it wears I can always take it apart and re duracoat it again! Maybe get it thick enough to stay for awhile.

I'd like to not have to throw it away- it served in the middle east on someone's rifle. I got it for $60 on TOS from a guy that had brought back a few. Hopefully not "stolen."

I used it all day at the range Sunday and didn't bother to play with the Eotech too much. I like the Irons.
