    It looks like that optic is mounted to far forward to get a proper eye relief. Do you have to look for certain optics to mount on that rifle?

    I really like that rifle. When I go to get a bolt gun it will be something to look at.

    What type of accuracy does it get at various ranges? I'm thinking what would I gain from going to a 700 heavy barrel?

    Mine shoots a little over 1MOA at 100 yards with 7.62x51mm Winchester white box 147gr. Best groups I have seen from a Ruger GSR were 0.69" at 100 yards with Buffalo Bore sniper 175gr. The idea behind this rifle wasn't for it to be a tack driving sniper rifle.

    Nope, but they are different from the plastic mags; the rounds are staggered, which results in a shorter overall length magazine. http://gunsumerreports.com/review_al...agazine_p1.php
