I was looking at a rem 597 AAC but they are out of stock at the suppliers. They want too much for ones on gunbroker. Does anyone know of another stock 22 with a threaded barrel for a can. Bolt gun would be ok too. Thanks

Ruger10/22 FS comes with a removable flash hider.
My LGS parros.com had three of these in stock last week for about $229 they also had a few with a bigger tactical type stock, I wan't interested in the big guy. I love mine.

I really like the look of that savage .22. I looked up Parros and they show 2 in stock. Thanks for the help guys.
CZ452-2E is my favorite 22 bolt gun. I have three different .22 rimfire suppressors, with WOLF match ammo and a suppressor the 452 is very quiet and nuts-on accurate. I replaced the stock trigger with a Timney.
It comes factory threaded and a 16" barrel. You will need a 1/2x28 adapter.

I love my CZ 452!
I'd take a strong look at the T3 Summit from Primary Weapons. Its a straight pull/biathalon style action merged into a 10/22 receiver. THe barrel itself is steel wrapped in carbon fiber and threaded. They sell a barreled action and you build it as you like. Its just extremely well thought out. Good trigger, enhanced mag release. And it allows you to use the myriad of 1022 stocks available.
I run a SWR Spectre on it. With Wolf Match ammo and a basic 2-7 scope, it will shoot .3-.5 inch groups at 50 yards all day long.
No financial interest in Primary Weapons - just extremely impressed with this rifle.

If a large number of people are willing to kill you for saying something, then it probably really needs to be said. .
The ones mentioned above, heard great things about the Savage and the CZ. For auto loading, you can look at the Ruger SR22 Rifle(uses 10/22 parts for better triggers etc), S&W M&P15-22(You can put any Milspec trigger in Geissele, Jewel, Timney, etc), HK 416-22 or Colt ar15-22 made by walther(the trigger Sucks though), mossbergs tacticle 22. The bolt guns will be much quieter though.
I have first-hand experience with these 2:
1) M&P-15-22 if you buy one that has the A2 style birdcage, you can remove it and you have 1/2x28 threads for a suppressor mount. Barrel is 16.5".
The M&P-15-22 makes a great suppressor platform for a semi-auto it is quiet with Standard Velocity (subsonic) ammo.
2) Savage Mark2 "FVSR" variant is a bolt-action .22 has 16.5" barrel and threaded muzzle to accept suppressor. Also a great suppressor platform but of a different style than the M&P-15-22.
Even .22 rifles are hard to find in the current panic.
