Just make sure you don't try to adjust the accutrigger to too low a weight. Under 2# and you can have issues.

If you need lighter pull, you can get a Riflebasix, Sharpshooter Supply or one of the other big name triggers. You can even sell the Accu for a little cash

What is the advantages to the savage accutrigger vs the standard trigger? Is it adjustible or what? If I get a rifle with a accutrigger and I want to replace the trigger down the road do I have to get an aftermarket accutrigger or are they interchangeable?

Can I put a factory savage accutrigger on a savage rifle without it?

Do I need to avoide guns without it or is it ok either way?

You cannot put an accutrigger on an older savage. As for modern savage rifles: do u even have the option of another/standard trigger? I don't thonk so.

For cheap I really like the American. Seems to be reviewed good. I plan on buying one in the next month. For the price if I decide I don't want it I'm sure I can sell it.

I've never owned a Savage but the "Hog Hunter" has some interesting features: 20" medium contour barrel, threaded 5/8x24, 1 in 10" twist, nice iron sights (in case your scope fails). Might find one for around $500.

Just over $400 around here lately. I've got one on layaway. The beefy barrel and iron sights were the hook for me.
