I've recently started to look into the purchase of my first AR, although I'm planning to wait until all the hysteria settles down. I doubt that the AR platform, as a whole, will be banned here in CT, but I can foresee maximum capacity being limited to 10rounds. So, my plan is to pick up at least one or two 30rounds magazines that can be used in whichever 5.56 AR-15/M4 I may choose in the near future. I have much to learn about this platform, but I'm under the impression that all AR-15/M4 mags are interchangeable...please correct me if I'm wrong.
My question is, are there any brands or particular types of magazines I should avoid?
