You can use some of the Safariland light compatible holsters. Or order some semi custom kydex as I did.

Not sure on run time.. more than a week's worth of night fire showed no dimming. mfg specs probably say

Does anyone know if this will fit on shorter rail systems? I am thinking specifically of the HK45c.

With the X300 mini apparently being vaporware, this could be the ticket for me if it will fit the 45c.

Raven Concealment offers the APL as an option on its Light-Compatible Phantom holsters.

Took a quick look at the fact sheet on their site. I don't see an O-ring on the body or anything that would suggest this light has been waterproofed. Does anyone know if it is?

    inforce APL

Negative, it toggles on and rebounds to the position you see in pictures. It's a spring loaded paddle essentially, only resting position is as pictured. It does not rest in the 'on' position like a rocker.

You are correct, tap (literally - doesn't take much pressure) on, tap off. And hold for momentary.

To clarify, Dano (and others) have more time on the APL than I do. These are just my 'tabletop' thoughts on it. Looking forward to subjecting it to some recoil soon (tomorrow).

Gotcha and thanks! Would like to try out that switch on a long gun as well.

Just curious if anyone has more of a long-term update on the APL.
I've got a bunch of survival guides on my Kindle, so I'm ready for an EMP.

I ordered one from Optics Planet earlier this week, but I received an email the next day saying they were back ordered 5-7 weeks, so I cancelled and placed an order for a Streamlight TLR-3 instead. I may pick up an APL later once they become available
