    Glenfield Model 10

Recently inherited a Glenfield model 10 .22 from my father. It was his fathers. It does not have a serial number. Is there any way to identify what year gun this is without a number? It has the markings "LJ" on the receiver. I know they stopped making the model 10 in 1929. Any help would be great. Thanks

From what I've found the Glenfield Model 10 (not to be confused with the Marlin Model 10) was made from 1966 to 1978. The LJ code may mean it was made in Dec '66 though I'm not sure it is applicable to that model. It should be basically the same as a Marlin 101.

Thanks. Like I said I found something that said the model 10 was ended in 1929 and changed to the model 60. Can't find anything more though. Guess it's not as old as I thought.
