    It's the bayonet mount that was made for the 870's a million years ago. They are collectors items now if you can find one. I'll see if I can find a referance picture which is clearer.

    Dustin,

    If I remember correctly (those pics where taken in 03') they were 12.5". I've got a 10" with my Rem 870 MCS and slide assembly is shorter. (currently running a 14", fixed stock and 2 rd extension for 3+2+1). Since those were standard slide assemblies it should be a 12.5".

    Got to the range today and ran some 00 buck thru the 870 MCS, modified Rem choke, 14" and +2 shot extension.
