Reviews have been some what mixed, but a little more on the favorable side. I'll probably get one.

I've personally handled 2 of these that work just fine and 1 that would FTF. All belong to friends, I personally own an ORF Galil. My friend with the FTF gun didn't bother with sending it back, comparing it to mine and one of the others it was clear it needed some ramping. Little Dremel action and it was good to go. I'd buy one if I didn't have the ORF and wanted a Galil.

What about the Elite Galil? Are there any issues in the long run with the rear mounted sights, in terms of the stability of the upper reciever and the precise retention of zero? I remember when Kokalis did the reviews of the Galils in SOF when they were first introduced. Always wanted one.
