Can you buy the Jardine sights anywhere?

Anyway, back to the OP...I've been using one of the Harrison LPA cut sights on my Range Officer since I bought it. There were some issues with front sight height on the first batch, but John addressed it with the new ones. The U-notch is great, a little wider than on the earlier models, really helps you pick up the front sight quickly. I have the plain black one on there now, but as soon as he releases the T1s with the U-notch I'll be changing it out; how the tritium lamps are installed is brilliant.

Really? You have a Jardine Tactical Hook sight on your 1911? Please post pics and training experiences with them.

    Lower profile.

Anchored into the slide by (3) Hex screws...it will NOT move during (1) handed manipulations, hooking on clothes, wood, rocks or off cement. I have seen it done.

The front of the hook is lined in 40 LPI that allows it to catch on surfaces for manipulation, but it doesn't "snag" accidentally. He dehorns them around the edges. He also makes a Novak cut version.

I have these on all my 1911's.

Very "fast" sights...acquisition speed is quick IMHO...

Spartan Concepts and Consulting Pistol III class...

Jardine Tactical Hook sights are on a STI Eagle 5.0 9mm, with some enhancements by Jardine Custom...

John's sights are very, very good, especially considering what it will be replacing. I really like his entire line of sights. His retro is excellent and his newish Novak cut options are also very nice.

If John is making it you can be assured that it will be very high quality and functional. He has a very similar sight for a Baer...

Jardine sights are by far the nicest replacement for a bomar, but they wont retrofit into a "deluxe cut". Harrison's original, two piece sight will

    Im still saying it.

Where are they commercially available? I dont care that YOU have one. I want to be able to go to a website and buy them, not have to blow a "Gun Jedi" in order to be able to get these so i can "manipulate" my pistol...

So, having said that. Since im nobody and these sights are not available to USPSA Jockeys like myself, they're vaporware.
