    What's the benefit of using brake cleaner over rubbing alcohol as recommended by the FC manufacturer?

    Brake cleaner works better for me. I'd guess that alcohol is suggested merely based on perceived convenience over brake cleaner.

    Anyone ever notice a bunch of white residue with your fouling when using fireclean and a suppressor? I've been using fireclean for probably 6 months and never noticed anything; I took the suppressor out for a test run yesterday and noticed this stuff:

    It happens. I've seen similar things with SLIP2000 EWL.

    So I have been giving fireclean a fair shake and I am really liking it. I use 6 drops of oil on the carrier spread via finger(3 on each side) which leavs a ton of oil on the rails.

    4 drops on the bolt and 2 drops into the cam pin slot when assembled and so far that amount has been perfect.
