I just read about drop and torque test on another thread and was wonder if anyone knew how the KMR would fair if put to these test?

If there's drop tests to be done, I'd bet that BCM has run them.... based on ESK's work at Vltor.
(I know I've dropped mine twice on concrete surfaces and once the wind blew in into the dirt... No issuse... Irons held zero)

I wondered how long it would be for this to show up. Seems the way the barrel nut and handguard interface, it is very strong. Especially if the material is as strong as claimed.

I'd expect structural damage to the handguard tube itself before the barrel nut interface failed.

Anyone running the Noveske keymod scout mount on the BCM KMR?
I'm wanting to mount a mini scout as low-pro as possible.
Will this mount work on the 10:30 rail?

The Noveske Scout light mount does NOT fit on the top 45 degree slots, I tried....
I have an IWC and a Noveske QD mount. I have no issues with both other than one of them does not have staked screws as the Keymod TDP suggests....

Weighed my KMR/ELW, just over 8lb 2oz with sling, full mag, and EO:
Build is 16" barrel, 13" KMR, Raptor, PRO sights, Vickers sling with QDs, Magpul stock and grip.
Without EO, sling and mag, just over 6 lbs
