We do see -20F (-32C) here from time to time. -4F (-20C) and less is winter regular. Not for long periods, like in '80s, but still happen more less every winter for couple of weeks. Equipment made for use in our part of Europe must be up to this conditions. AFAIK new HK magazine was tested for cold climate operations.

We finally got our shipment of these in. I tested them in a:
BCM
KAC
Colt
Noveske
Lancer
The mag dropped free in all of these guns.
For those interested, they are in stock here: http://www.gandrtactical.com/cgi-bin...on&key=235690S
C4
Ribbed part is significantly wider than top part. Wider than same area on P-Mag or L5AWM. Can be a problem in some (tight) double pouches. Did not give me problems in my double pouches or in doubled Tacos, but I can imagine it can be a problem for some people with their setups.
As to grip feeling, HK mags while wider give impression of most firm grip to me. Those ribs feel very positive and do not allow mag to slip in hand.

So...how are these doing, and are they just re-packaged g36 mags?
I've got over 1500 through one mag that I bought as a test subject. About 400 of that was ran continuously through my last Vicker's class.
Not a single bobble. And I shoot prone off the mag quite a bit as well.
Only downside I've come across is that they won't fit kydex pouches for P mags or USGI. But I suppose they weren't really built with that intention in mind.
