Same here. That's actually what I've been using. I picked up a couple of the mk262 ammo cans packed full with mk262 mod1 about a year ago for a great price.

The Black Hills MK 262 Mod 1 OTM is great ammunition, although it is expensive.
For reloaded ammunition, I prefer the 77gr SMK bullets, especially at longer distances. For plinking at steel targets, the Hornady 55gr bullets works good enough but the 77gr provide much greater accuracy, no comparison really.

Agreed. I mainly only shoot Federal Gold Metal Match out of my .308 and love it, but it is expensive to buy. Not much would make me happier than to be able to have a couple pallets of the stuff!

FGMM ammo is the one factory load I don't turn my nose up to. It's as close to hand loading that you can get. I'd love to see that production line in action.

I imagine the FGMM production line to be something like Elves in the North Pole. A whole bunch of skilled labor hand-making everything.

    Ba ba WHAT????

I thought I was the last AR owner to hang on to that old school way of thinking.

I've got rid of all but one ammo can of M193. The first time I shot a 77 gr SMK into water jugs, I was sold. I already knew they ruled at long range... but they're wicked at close defensive work too.

Something loaded with 69gr SMKs, 77gr SMKs, or 75gr Hornady HPBT for the range and fun, brown tip or another TSX load for SD/HD.

That stuff isn't as accurate as Markm118.

    YOU'RE CUT OFF of AMMO.
