    I can see casting marks from just the PICTURE.

    Its DPMS. Fine for a plinker

    Its redundant, is it really so hard to reach half an inch higher to hit the normal bolt release.

    Would have the concern of failure to lock back on empty mag, a not infrequent occurrence with the BAD. Supposedly happens because of additional mass hanging off the pivot pin, opposing the spring. Only way to find out if there is an issue is to try it. Hard for me to see if its a benefit or a solution looking for a problem without hands on time.
    Interested to know how it works out.
