    Put down the Dremel!

    NEVER!

I've used a dremel tool tons on rifles, shotguns, and pistols. It really is my favirite and most used power tool. Only thing Ive goofed on (so far) is letting the dremel get away from me slightly and leaving a mark. I'll actually be giving a haircut to an FSB this weekend with one.

Upon further thought I did massacre the first pinned gas block I took of with a dremel years ago. Don't ask. It was before the M4Carbine.net light was switched on.

    Correct. It is a feature.

He never asked for one. He was just letting me know how disappointed he was in my Company.

It's never even occurred to me to put a cam pin in a bolt if the bolt wasn't in the carrier.

At first I thought he was trying to put it in backwards...but apparently this dude was pissed off that it didn't stick out the other side? Jesus.

Don't be too hard on the guy, he probably had an Olympic where that was possible and was using that experience to judge this on.
MarkM...anything like that in your Oly archives?

I just heard about another one:

    Dear Mr. Grant;

I recently purchased a Colt 6920 from you.
To say that I am displeased is an understatement.

I have been very interested in converting my carbine to .300 Blackout, however, the first time I fired a .300 Blk cartridge through my "5.56" chamber, the gun BLEW UP!!!

Your shop is disappointing, and I am sad.

Dremel tools and ELECTRIC pencils of old.

Knew an LEO who fancied himself quite a coffee table gunsmith, his lone tool a DREMEL and a mess of attachments. He had to ruin half a dozen S&W Revolvers while I knew him.... before he finally figured out he was a hack.

His chamber chamfering was a sight to behold. But his hammer & trigger "tuning" ,resulting in ruined H&T's, that was where he really shined.

As an S&W revolver collector with a little side collection of M-70 Winchesters.... It's surprising the Collector quality guns with a previous owners name/ SSN ELECTRIC PENCILED on the weapon...usually ruining thousands of dollars of value.

Always thought there should be a special little place in HELL for the inventor of both devices.
