    Lightest Pull ALGS trigger

Having installed a Geissele in my rifle, I'm considering installing a less costly one for my wife's currently stock rifle. I say my wife's, but she's yet to decide if she really wants it. If she does get into shooting AR's, perhaps, an ALG trigger upgrade is the way to go, but I don't know which one would be best?

I would like one with a minimum of 4-5 lb pull weight, if in fact they make one. So far, from what I've read 6.5 is the lightest, but I'm not completely sure.

    Suggestions?

    Thanks!

(Why go cheap on her? Because, I don't think she's going to go whole hog wild like me for shooting. I think she may shoot on occasion. If she does get bitten by the shooting bug, I can always get a Geissele for her later.)

I font think they offer weight options on the ALG. 6.5 lbs is the average on them. That being said both the above triggers are excellent options.

I have an SSD, and the ALG. I find the Alg better.

    Thanks for your response.

I'm trying to figure out the difference between the two ALG triggers.

Both are reasonably priced $45.00 and $65.00.

I visited their website and apparently I'm not knowledgeable enough about the tech-talk to know what they hell they're saying the differences are...

I guess what I'd like to know now is what does the $65.00 trigger have to recommend it over the $45.00 one?

If anyone could bring it down to something understandable by a non-gunsmith or master hobbyist, I'd be eternally grateful.

One is NBcoated and the other is not. Note how the more expensive one is shinny. The QMS has gotten big thumbs up around here, as mentions in a few threads. https://www.m4carbine.net/showthread...&highlight=QMS
