How much does your precision AR weigh?

This Afghan with SS 1-6 tips the scales at 9 lbs. 14 oz.

This is a bit heavier than I would want, but it is what it is. Have any of you weighed your SPRs, Recces etc.? I'd be curious to know what your little piggies weigh.

Just under 15 lbs with a loaded 20 rd mag.

Unrelated to rifle weight, but you should move your vfg forward OP. Also why is it on fire?

Because it was verified unloaded and the hammer released? No AR I own will allow me to put it on safe if the hammer isn't cocked.

I know most guys like their VFGs up front, but I like to have the VFG back because that puts it close to the neutral balance point, which helps handling the rifle, especially if it is heavy like this one. I picked this VFG positioning up from my AR10, which is quite a beast. I haven't shot this rifle in this configuration yet though, so the positioning might change once I've got some extensive trigger-time with it.

Mine is just under 8.5 pounds: 18" light contour JP super match barrel, 15.5" hand guard, PST 2.5-10x32, Bobro slightly forward mount (no BUIS). Add .75 pounds for an Atlas bipod.
