CMMG LE 16" issue

This has got to be a magazine issue. Try it with 3 or 4 other brands of magazines and see what happens

Tested my mags in my Daniels with ammo used mags worked perfectly.

As I rechecked my cmmg found that the gas rings in the BCG was a one piece gas ring and didn't seem like good quality. I have BCM gas rings swapped seems to have a good seal. Will be testing it this week with same mags and ammo as well have pmags in the mix to verify its good to go.


The cmmg gas rings bairly held a seel in which I think that was the cause of the short cycle. I like the cmmg and won't sell it plus I got it on sale for $560 couple years back and only dumped $175 in parts I bought from a friend.

Thanks for the replies everyone. It helped me diagnos the problem as well gave me more knowledge on what too look for and causes of issues.
