    .45 ACP question

I have started buying up the 185 Grain Cor-Bon DPX defense load and I am looking for something closer to that grain for practice ammo. The 230 gr is everywhere does anyone know of a similar load in 185 ish grain .45 ACP that I could transition to for practice?

    Hey Shaun,

I'm like dammmm... I have Never noticed this before, but a big part of the reason why is I Reload....
So I'm thinking what's the big deal, 185 gr rounds shouldn't be a problem to find?
And it's not IF all's you want is Hollow Points... LOL You are 100% correct, atleast the little bit I've
look on Gun Broker... it is ONLY the 230gr. rounds I could find that wasn't Hollow Points...?

Here's acouple links with 185gr. rounds, YES they are Hollow points but there is atleast 2 of the links IMHO the
Prices are still good enough to buy.

Good luck and please let us know IF and where-IF you find what you are looking for eh.

    Peace Jeff

Hey, You found Target 185gr. ammo too, LOL Good job!

Yeah, ammo prices via Gun Broker for the most part IS CRAZY!
IF you knew what I paid for some .22LR... You'd think I was Crazy..
A buddy and I split like 7762 rounds a year or so ago and at the time,
it was the ONLY place we could find selling 22LR...

I told him(guy selling the ammo) IF I ever came across a Gun Shop selling ammo for prices like this\His,
I would let them know, I would NEVER EVER do business buying guns, scopes, paper targets or whatever... from them.

    OP,

sent you an IM with some possible sources - I am a fan as well due to the reduced recoil for novice shooters as well as follow up shots.
